Job in Denver Bar Cart

Denver Bar Cart (DBC) is seeking interns to work with our team of entrepreneurs and investors. Interns will work directly with Denver’s growing Craft Beer/Spirit and Recreational Marijuana industries and have exposure to companies and individuals in Denver’s startup, tech and entrepreneurial communities.

This opportunity is perfect for fun-loving, creative individuals that enjoy seeking out and trying out new bars/restaurants, products, venues and events. You will have the opportunity to attend private openings, product launches, tastings, and other events for the purpose of reviewing new businesses, products, etc and interviewing key people.

You will be exposed to the fast pace world of startups and have the opportunity to gain experience in disciplines of your choosing. Weekly responsibilities will include exposure to Marketing, Digital and Social media, Public Relations, Mobile Marketing, Graphic Design, HTML Design, general business practices (sales, operations, accounting, etc) and more.

You will work directly on client marketing campaigns, social media strategy and other client deliverables as well as attend client meetings and business reviews. This internship will leave you with tons of business and entrepreneurial experience and potentially the opportunity to grow with and continue working for Denver Bar Cart on a paid/full-time basis.

Must be proficient in or able and willing to learn the following: – Google Docs (easily taught) – Facebook / Twitter / Instagram – Great writing skills – Blogging via wordpress – Administrative tasks.

PLEASE NOTE: Intern(s) will work primarily from their own home!!! (not a bad perk!) so you must have your own laptop and internet access. There will be mandatory weekly meetings with the Bar Cart team, but the schedule will be flexible to fit with the rest of your life. The hours of work per week will be based on the hours required for school credit.

- Pro-active and moves quickly to grow the DBC brand by making new connections and acting as a brand ambassador at all times

- Passion for growing DBC
- Expert user of social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc
- US Student (full-time, part-time or in-between)
- Must be 18+ (21+ preferred)
- Marketing/PR/Communication/Business major (preferred)
